Did they stop the daddy's seizures (OP)?
Because he tested positive. Using son as his excuse.
So the dad smokes. So?

Up to 39k on the go fund me now
Asked my very liberal 19 year old son his thoughts on this at dinner tonight. His take was that they should’ve tried cbd oil which is very cheap and it was lazy parenting

Well, until the law is changed, what exactly would you like to happen?
Remember that if you set the precedent that ignoring the law is Ok in this case, you now have to deal with a million people trying to exploit it.

Find a thread that 99.9% on the OT is gonna agree on and find something to argue about anyway.

Cant it be both?
Cant it be that he wanted to help his son and he wanted to smoke himself? Maybe he's depressed about his son who has chronic seizures and nobody in the world has been able to help him so he smokes to alleviate his depression.
More importantly, what business is it of yours anyway? What business is it of any of ours in society?
You either believe in Freedom and the sanctity of the individual or you don't. It's not a complicated philosophy.

Not gonna pretend I know the law in GA, but I have a feeling what they did merits more than a fine.
It is called prosecutorial discretion. A prosecutor does not have to pursue a case. It should have been used here. They should have told the parents to keep their wonder cure under wraps, continue to use it, maybe even move somewhere where MJ is legal, but given the improvement with his health the last thing that should have happened was the kid removed to a group home and his parents arrested.

Classic stupid person trying to call me out on a perfectly reasonable post. If you bothered actually reading my posts instead of just being a smart arse, you'd have seen that I think this situation is ridiculous. However, my question was fair.

I’d kill the therapist. Steal my kid back and head to Canada.

You’ve never given your kids medicine?
You’re are an idiot. You obviously believe the state owns your kids. You’d fit in well in a communist nation.

I really really feel that you intentionally pick the side you know is wrong and argue for it.
Like you get offon being an arse.

I legit only opened this thread because it's 10 pages long trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Sure enough I see lunchbox on the first page
Actually surprised he gave up after page 1.
On topic: this is why the deep South sucks.

Yeah. I know someone dealing with seizures and they make a butter with wax resin and honey butter. It's good too.

Move to a place where it is medicinally acceptable?
Posted on 6/4/18 at 8:07 am to NYNolaguy1
First off, if you haven't smoked pot before, please shut the frick up. The fact is, alcohol causes more damage to society than pot.
Ever heard of anyone overdosing on pot???? No, you haven't. Its not toxic to our bodies.
These parents find something that actually works on their son, allows him to have a "normal" life. What piece of shite person WOULDN'T allow the kid to partake. I understand its illegal, but just because we have a stupid, ineffective, and ignorant law doesn't make these parents "unfit".

We need more and more cases like this to help end prohibition of a useful medicine.
