When the Beatles came to City Park in 1964 my sisters were were in their very early teens. As soon as it was announced they started their campaign to go.. It was out of the question with my parents. They settled to drive by the stadium. My sisters were in hysterics and all the crying and screaming coming from the backseat. They still talk about that to this day...

May be my favorite George Harrison song.

Paul is arguably the greatest songwriter who's ever lived and is our greatest living songwriter.
Well he's the richest. Saw him live, about 20 rows from the stage and it was amazing.
I love What is Life
When I was a kid it was "Got My Mind Set on You" with the subsequent and silly video. Happy birthday, George.

Beware of Darkness. Love it.
We listen to "All Things Must Pass" on vinyl, often. Great album.
Still wish I could find someone to repair my 1956 phonograph. I think it just needs some new tubes.

Gaucho is a master fisherman. Everytime I say no way he catches one this time he always manages to reel one in.
Angle on Gaucho.
I especially enjoy your work as Tboy

Fricke right off. The Beatles were a boy band and far from great instrumentalists. There are 10 year olds on YouTube who are better instrumentalists than those punks.

He did not write that many songs for the Beatles, but all the ones he wrote were really good

No knock on George who was great, but this recent thought that he was the “best” Beatle is strange to me. Paul was so great for so long his genius is taken for granted. Somehow it became the hot take that George is “better” but I don’t get it. Saw Paul last summer, great show and when you consider he’s 80 it’s downright mind blowing.

George seemed like an OK dude.
His 1975 follow-up to “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”:
“This Guitar (Can’t Keep From Crying)” YouTube Link
I also like “Wa-Wa”.
