The fact that you would do it for the money doesn't negate the pain. I'm just pointing out that your argument is silly.
It's really not that silly. On average, men go through more physical discomfort throughout the course of life than women do. Sure you have your labor pain. But from my point of view when I did infantry training with female marines they dropped quicker and more frequently than males did at any slightest discomfort.

What if the woman can't control their sex drive either?
Why are you ignoring science and biology?

Well I'll only respond to one of your points as we have reached an impasse, and that is that is not the woman causing sexual tension if guys can't control their sex drive. That's hardly the woman's fault. That is exactly the same argument made against homos and blacks; hey, they're ok by me but people don't like them and we'll have to deal with racists being racists and anti gay people being the same.
You dipshit, can you really not see the difference?
Let's hear it: what is your actual service record? Did you ever serve in a front-line combat arms unit in war? You said you wouldn't comment on it, but let's hear it.
Mixed-sex units running convoys along Route Tampa or Irish or running Cropper prison isn't even close to the same thing as what an infantry platoon or company isn't doing. Sorry you can't see that.

Holy shite. Is this a point made in the context of people fighting in combat units?

You know that won't happen. Those types of women are a needle in a haystack
How can you say that being a male veteran?

My point didn't insult or question anyone's service so Screw you moron, it's not relevant and by your rant I can tell you were a REMF if anything, so go DIAF. People who always have to shout I was in Iraq, I'm a seal, I'm a ranger yada yada yada on this board in the context of a political or social disagreement have serious self esteem issues whether what they are saying is accurate or not. I don't play little boy my penis is bigger than yours games. Grow up.

Nice try. I'm usually the last to pound my chest, but if you must know, I was an 11A in the Army.
Your experience matters in this context. So out with it.

Why? Others and myself have given dozens of reasons as to why women shouldn't be in combat units. Why cherry pick your arguments. Sell me on women in combat. Everytime I have this discussion I ask the question, why should women be allowed in combat units? And everytime the answer is "Why not?" And then of course I give dozens of reasons as to why not and the still respond with, "But why not?"

Women have a lower threshold for pain UNTIL they get close to child birth. Then their bodies release all kinds of hormones to deal with the pain. Once that's over and they've recovered, the hormones go away and their pain threshold goes back down.
But why are you letting the trolling of some POG (20mule) keep this conversation going?

So, I take it by your descent to the ad hominem that you're conceding the argument?

I guess so.

They have no answer to the question of WHY women should be allowed in the combat arms. The only answer they have is because "it's fair."
In reality it isn't fair. It isn't fair to the men who serve in the combat arms and it isn't fair to the women who would serve in the combat arms. One of the biggest arguments for allowing women in would is that command of a combat arms unit is considered to be a quasi requirement for promotion. Well, the vast majority of women will never be promoted to even mid level ranks in the combat arms, assuming women are held to the exact same standards for promotion as the men are. Even the most physically fit women will be among the weakest people in the unit. For enlisted Marines, especially at the lower ranks of E-1 through E-5, promotions are awarded on a point system calculated by Time in Service, time in rank, physical fitness score and rifle qualification score. Women will obviously be far below their peers physical fitness wise and the study showed that women are less accurate shooters than men. So, women just simply won't be promoted with their peers. Also, women are twice as likely to be injured as men are, so even if the somehow miraculously get promoted to higher ranks they will be too broken to be of any use and will probably be medically discharged before they can ever get to a high level command.
So, if indeed women are allowed into the infantry AND the standards for entry and especially promotion remain the same, I guarantee that within 5 years you will hear a cries from the left about hoe the promotion system is unfair because such a small percentage of women are promoted when compared against their male counterparts. Then we will go back to a segregated promotion system where women are only compared to other women in the combat arms and men are compared to other men in order to get more women into positions of leadership even though they do the exact same job as the men they are not being compared to.

Nice try moron try harder next time to deflect my point; it might work. I never asked what "supposedly" did; quite the opposite actually and if you had good reason comprehension you'd know that. So you and the other FOBBIT below can delusionally call me a POG all you want, it doesn't have any effect on me or the argument.
Posted on 9/24/15 at 12:20 pm to 20MuleTeam
If whether or not someone is a grunt or a POG doesn't matter to you then stop talking about it and reply to my posts. I've noticed you've given up on actually trying to make your case.

You've deflected to an irrelevant argument or interrogation rather as you can't argue with mine so GFY.

Ugh
I was a pog, nco, 68w in a medical company which was female dominated. Luckily I go to do other things that got me away from that environment.
Nothing worse than a female needing a shower after being out in the field.
Also had a female get chartered out for being allergic to the glue that's used on the combat boots. Apparently she was also allergic to water since she showered maybe once a week. Actually I think she was allergic to life.
The amount of cattiness was insane.
