how far? fwiw when i had NG the gas company (who has to come in and approve the line anyway) was actually the cheapest quote to run the line as well.
i paid around $500 but i already had line to a water tank that was maybe 10' away.

Did this a few years ago. Plumbers didn’t want to frick with it because it’s a pain, attic was involved, permits etc. I ended up paying a solo builder that was rebuilding a friends house post Katrina about $500 bucks to come do it.
It’s hard to find someone to do it.

It'll be at least a 50' run as the metter is on one side of the home and the closest gas appliance is above and diagonal 20' from the kitchen
