I bought 10, 5 gallon cans over 20 years ago to have storms. Glad I did and have never had to deal with them government gas cans

The EPA still requires them to be childproof. The OG gas can manufacturers went out of business because they were frivolously sued into oblivion.

God, I hate those things. I've got a couple 5 gal cans, and whenever I fill the mower I always slosh some gas everywhere. It's just such a pain in the arse.

Great news! These stupid safety spouts suck. They break and leak everywhere. Only US Gov could ban a spout.

Good to know…I didn’t know about that requirement. It was the first tank I saw with the containment well for a such a small tank. I could understand if it were a larger 1,000 gallon tank.
