Oil bumped from $31/barrel to $34/barrel. Just wait until it settles around $60 by the end of the year... you'll be back to paying $2+/gallon at the pump soon enough.

Don't worry. It's based on ... not much.

And brought to you by the same people who have been saying the American economy has "recovered."

I saw that last night, as I was leaving Brother's. Was wondering when it jumped up 10¢. But then my Aunt in Irvine paid 2.37 last week. Guess I shouldn't complain.

I need gas to stay cheap. Looking for a house and waiting on all the oil filed baws to get foreclosed on before I buy.

So was chicks riding around in $60,000 SUVs with stickers in the back that said "Oil Field Trash Spending Oil Field Cash" while people were getting crushed by $4/g gas.

jl03, go tell your funny jokes to folks in Lafayette, Houma, M.City. And not just the people who work in the oil business. Talk to dentists, restaurant/bar owners, retail stores. I saw Lafayette gutted in the 80's and it was not a matter of homes being foreclosed on. It was ugly and many good people's lives were ruined.

Most of them are doing just fine.

Not sure what you're talking about.
