Raising my sons, I kept all of Larson's books in their rooms. Obviously, at the age of 8 they didn't get many of the jokes. At age 12, they got more. At age 16, they got most of them. Point being, if you don't know your science, history or sociolgy, you can't know Gary Larsen.
