Dear Gary,
If you are reading the board, please take my advice. Do not run for state senate. It will honestly be an embarrassing experience for you. And these are not one of those situations where you will end up saying "they all said I couldn't do it and here I am".
You have already isolated a lot of potential voters. It takes money to run a state senate campaign. I don't know a number off the top of my head, but even in a campaign for something like parish president, to be a serious candidate you need to have at least $500k in your war chest to start off.
And if you were to even become close to being a threat, you shaking down a bank for money, your social media videos, etc will be used against you. It will honestly be a 100% waste of time and money.

Campaign funds? How about personal funds too? I'd love to see where that $35k from Whitney actually went. How about the "Black Ball"? How much did he personally profit from that?
