Anyone who likes Barf Brooks must like the current state of our country and hates country music.

I saw him back in 1991 - it's still one of the most memorable concerts of my life - would I see him again - prob not. Once was enough. AC/DC on the other hand - yep I'd totally do that one again.

I noticed this is becoming more prevalent and I don’t necessarily like it.
It prevents theft… I’m sure venues got tired of their hi quality concession workers stealing their money…
They do it in most large professional sports venues now…

Was that the tour when he put the wood in Trisha Yearwood? Couldn’t hold off and got together with that, they were just two young lovers on the road . If so that was the tour they did an epic two night stand in Monroe’s famed Civic Center Arena.

I believe he was still married to his previous wife at the time. Trisha opened for him, so I assume that was at the very beginning of their relationship.
If I remember correctly it was the MN State Fair and he was part of a bundle of tickets - I think I remember Slaughter being one of the other acts
It was held on a stage in the rodeo rink and I was maybe 10 feet away standing in sand and horse and cow shite. He didn't have all that fancy stuff like he had at Tiger Stadium, but was still one hell of good show. I kinda remember him getting flown in by a helicopter but it was long time ago and I'm old so that could be wrong.

Yeah supposedly they hooked up on that tour and just went with it. Which I got no problem with. They were just two young lovers on the road.

How is this Brooks' fault?

Blame Brooks?
I mean seriously 2/3 of your hatred of last night has to do with other factors. If you don't like his music whatever but he's a great performer

Garth was long retired until a bunch of cow pokes kept clamoring for his comeback.
You can believe today he's "Leaving Baton Rouge" with about 2 million of ya'lls dollars

pop music concert in a football stadium.
That's the experience. This is how they always are. Crowded, overpriced and underwhelming.
True. I saw Pearl Jam in a MLB baseball stadium a few years back. Tickets were $220 which I never would have paid for willingly, had I just asked my friend who bought them how much they were ahead of time. The sound and visual experience was the worst I have ever experienced at a show. And the crowds were awful. Would never go to a show in anything bigger than a basketball arena again.
At least Garth was only $50 and he played the venue theme song. The visual of the packed stadium was impressive and I'm glad to hear it was enjoyable for most.

Whoa man. $50 a ticket? Damn. You had to save and scrimp for months and I feel bad for you. And a poor performance?
There is a link on his webpage that will allow you to get a refund. Check it out. Lol
