Everyone that is except the erratic methbilly that too quickly and too loudly approached my girls on one of their walks. She didn’t love him, and refused to let him near her mommy.
Juliette came to us by way of a pregnant stray that was turned into the local animal shelter by animal control. My wife spotted a book of faces post asking for someone to foster a very pregnant sweetheart of a dog. That sweetheart whelped 10 pups in one of our spare bedrooms. Juliette was the runt, and would have been my first pick if we were to keep one of them. Juliette couldn’t keep up with her siblings and she was showing signs of “fading disease”. We gave her one on one feeding time with her mom to keep up.
We were able to place the mom and all of the pups. When Juliette was taken away my wife was heartbroken. After a few months we received a call from Juliette’s “other mother” and she boomeranged back to us. Well, my wife pulled rank as the minister of sex and finance, and Juliette a.k.a. Goober is back where she belongs.
