Black hi-top Cons were the way to go when I was in HS - great buy at $15.00.

Up until the last thing I bought (the forks and knives), I wasn’t too excited about my finds. The knives and forks should bring $200+

I’m not sure if I’m going to sell them, probably give them to my BIL. But you can find these on eBay pretty inexpensive.

I love browsing these threads and seeing what you find. I'm curious though, what do you do with this stuff?

Always my favorite thread. Something I’d never do but enjoy living vicariously through antique.

Sell it!!!

I don’t do it for the money, I do it for the thrill of the hunt. I like to shoot for at least 10x my money or more. My best purchase ever as far as the ratio go, was a 1983 GM10 Nolan Ryan card. I paid 25¢, sold for $200 (800:1 return on my money)

Antique- I helped my folks move some stuff out of a storage shed. Had about 20-25 commercial amplifiers. One was an Altec 9440A… that is all I remember. Do these types of things have any value at all?

Not in my wheel house but I know some can bring some big money. Are you talking amps for guitars or just loud speakers?

Edit-
I just looked up Altec 9440a. There’s one on eBay for $550, and looks like most Altec stuff bring big money.

Thanks man. More commercial stuff. My grandfather had a commercial electronic business. In fact they ran sound at tiger stadium for decades. My problem is I have no clue how to sell some of that stuff.

Southern Electric or Kadair's? Does any of it look like transmission equipment? There would be antenna outputs.
