I know Atlanta and Houston are very different, but the way NOLA thugs walked into Houston post Katrina and made their presence known, my money is on NOLA.
Then again NOLA might always be a man short since they don't do drive bys. If they can stop doin pull ups or at least figure out a way for the N$##@ on the passenger side to not automatically die, they could handle bidness.

But for real, that's how most of Atlanta's big gangs work. The small timers trying to make it big always makes mistakes and always eventually get caught and it takes the whole gang down. They'll arrest 50+ people and shut them down.

The Russians wanted to take over NOLA, when they looked at what it would take, they moved on to less destructive destinations. Their reasoning, everyone in NOLA is related. You would have to fight half the city. Advantage NOLA over Atl.

My first ever business trip out of college was to ATL to visit our HQ. My flight was delayed getting in and I didn't land until 10 or 11pm. In New Orleans, I once assessed this black guy out of Angola who was about 4'10 called "Crazy Tom" (at least that's what he told me people used to call him). He told me about his old lifestyle and he said "I used to have every kind of weapon you could imagine...hand guns, machine guns, hand grenades..." I said, "HAND GRENADES?!" He said, "Man, you'd be surprised what you can get in some places".
I assessed him to see if I thought he could work and to see what he could do. He was disabled and said he became disabled in Angola when some guy stabbed him in the face/head. Angola ain't nothing nice.

We had this convo a while back with some friends. I grew up in inner city Memphis, so I'm a tad bias, but Memphis > Chicago/ Detroit (interchangeable and fluid) > NOLA. NOLA ranked higher pre-Katrina. The bigger gangsters with some cash in their pocket took over Houston leaving the B team behind. They're still savag AF, but fewer in numbers now. Houston jumped up the rankings ten spots almost overnight. The Mexican gangs didn't see them coming and weren't prepared for the invasion. Memphis is on a whole nother level.
