Last seen on the interstate headed who knows where. This statue was a gift from Spain. Beheaded picture is on Experience NOLA Heritage Facebook page.

This is what happens when you give in to retards who don’t know the difference between Jeanne D’Arc and Jefferson Davis.

Bernardo De Galvez was a key ally in the Revolutionary War and was governer of the La Territory for most of the War.
He lived up in Ft Rosalie in Natchez for some time.
Unlike the Civil War Generals, he's been getting new shite named FOR him in the last century , not the vice versa. Not that I support the removal of any of our monuments thus far.

statue is being stored for construction

This one isn't being removed permanently, know the guy that hauled it was moved to a place near Alexandria to be restored and repaired.

Will be brought back after the old WTC remodel is done

I just don’t believe the Advocate article. The city of New Orleans just got rid of it and it’s not coming back. The statue still had a head before it was removed. Look at the picture in the Advocate article.

I am thinking the head was removed for safe transportation. So it wouldn't get knocked off from an overpass.
