Hence the reason for some states (like Texas) are cracking down on the THC products that were legalized through the 2018 Farm Bill or Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 by banning edibles that contain any amounts of THC.

Abbott told scumbag Paxton and his psycho backers to eat shite on that one.

Theres a guy I heard interviewed nor long ago that theorizes that the drop in birth rate is partially tied to the drop in drinking. His idea is that with fewer people going out to social drinking events… bars and parties… mass crowds of guys and gals mixing socially is reduced eliminating chances to meet each other. He also pointed out that alcohol lowers inhibitions, making it easier for the opposite sexes to talk to each other. So less mixing, and less booze to encourage talking openly equal’s fewer babies.

Nah. It's b/c of how insanely expensive it is to have a kid and also b/c companies discriminate the ever living hell against dads and moms who *GASP* love their family more than the company.

Yet, strangely its the poor having children and the wealthier abstaining.

This is because all us millennials were raised in a time of "go big or go home". We partied our asses off. I don't know about the rest of em, but I won't drink much of anything for 6-8 weeks...then I'll get absolutely blasted because binge drinking has been programmed into my DNA from 4 years of college and 2 years of grad school.

sorta, being broke as shite and having another kid doesn't really change your material conditions. Still eking out a living and poor enough qualify for assistance

similarly, the very wealthy aren't as effected by adding 3rd or 4th kid to the rotation. it is the middle incomes that are being squeezed out of having kids

I think the point is people that are drinking at home are drinking regardless but some people that don’t drink at home may be more likely to drink out socially. Makes sense to me.

This is the new trend now. "I stopped drinking months ago". So you stopped being fun?

now what's the delta in using recreational marijuana / gummies?

I'll bet when you add the two, it's higher.

folks are just replacing booze with gummies

Yep, I’ve tailed way off of booze since I started growing weed, from which I produce brownies, cookies, cornbread, coconut oil tinctures. I control dosage carefully. And when I wake up in the morning I feel a lot better than with booze.

Glad I live in Virginia.

This is just an excuse. When you have a kid you spend less money on stupid shite and become more focused on something important.

It’s the middle class abstaining not the true wealthy or even upper middle class (unless they are brainwashed leftists that is)
