Gadot told InStyle she had had "all pure intentions, but sometimes you don't hit the bullseye".
The Wonder Woman star added that, with hindsight, the video was "premature".
"I was calling Kristen [Wiig] and I was like, 'Listen, I want to do this thing,'" Gadot explained. "The pandemic was in Europe and Israel before it came [to the US] in the same way.

That's the idea. Nobody has been talking about her for a while, so this "story" is concocted to get her back in the news. She'll get on some morning talk shows and promote a new book, movie, NFT, or some irrelevant garbage.

I am a long time Beatles and Lennon fan. John Lennon wrote lots of songs about lots of things. Imagine was hailed by the left as a Utopian wet dream, but after all is said and done it really is just another song.
That said, I went to a funeral for a friend some years back and they actually played that inside of a Methodist church at her funeral. To each their own, but it struck me as a bit weird if not outright inappropriate.
