The Hispanic woman killed last week by her ex was just off of Old Hammond and Sherwood. Anybody with the means to move who still lives on that part of Sherwood is insane.

Uh, not really. Sherwood Forest south of Florida Blvd, especially near that area is as safe as anywhere in ebr parish. The area across Flannery is and has been a crap hole for about 15 years. Just like basically everything along Staring and Gardere. Dead bodies pile up in and around Mayfair, those Lake Calais apartments and even the bodies dumped in Magnolia Woods a few years ago and nary a word from the BR bashers on here.
