1-4 p.m. delivery time window. Okay, fine. I'll make sure I am available.

Received a phone call from dispatch (out of state) about 30 minutes prior to window, the driver is running behind. The driver will now be there between 4 and 7 p.m.

Okay, I understand that delays happen. Just received another phone call, it looks like your delivery driver won't be there now until 9 p.m.

All you can do is laugh. Sorta. Had I missed delivery, I would have been charged an additional $60 for re-delivery.

And yes, I did ask for a credit ... we can't credit you until the item is delivered ... and we can only credit you a partial amount of the original delivery fee.

A prime example of poor customer service and a company not doing what it should to fix it and make it right for the customer.

If I lived in Frisco, I would buy from them.

When it comes to the cable people or furniture delivery, you can pretty much expect it to be on the later side of the time they give you..

Don't be surprised if they call you back and tell you it will be delivered tomorrow. The driver will probably be pressing to make 9PM, it will get too late and they will want to come first thing in the morning so they can get it delivered so they can get back on track.

Nah but Lava Cantina I heard is pretty legit. Something else is being built next to NFM that’s rather large.

We have one in Baton Rouge. I enjoy the live entertainment more than the food.

Not from IKEA, and their customer service is awful. Never ordering from them again. Ordered two dressers for pir nursery and after two months finally got a refund and ordered off of wayfair, which had prompt delivery.

They hire complete retards to haul that shite around. Nobody with options is going to be lugging furniture around all day. You can pretty much guarantee they won't get even close to the delivery window they promise.

I left the office one day and they kept pulling the same shite they're doing to you, so I told them my office is 10 minutes away, give me a heads up when you're on the way and I'll meet you at the house. They said that was no problem. I get a call two hours later from a random number and some ghetto dude is going "Yo we're at your house where are you". I told him they were supposed to give me a heads up, he goes "yeah we don't do that." When I got there they were all pissed. frick them. No tip.

The worst is auto transporters.

Last one I dealt with took 10 hours to get from Shreveport to nola. Took him 3 hours alone to get from br to nola.

Delivery driver just called. Said he wouldn't be at my place until 10 p.m. at the earliest, which is obviously too late.

I asked him, can you make plans to deliver to me first thing tomorrow morning? He said, he couldn't commit to that because that is handled by his scheduling department and to call them. So I just called them ... they're closed.

What a fantastic flippin' customer experience ...

I had given them the benefit of the doubt, but I am now convinced that the company we purchased furniture from follows this hiring practice.

Furniture was not delivered.

Delivery driver finally called (instead of dispatch) and said he would not be at my house until 10 p.m., at the earliest. Asked me to reach out to customer service to reschedule. Called customer service, they're closed. 5 minutes later, scheduling department calls me ... and instead of rescheduling my delivery, she presumptively transfers me to customer service, without my permission ... and customer service is again closed.

Called first thing this morning to see about getting my order delivered ... it can't be delivered now until Friday, June 8th.

Their fault. Their frick up. Their the ones that didn't adhere to their own time line and schedule. And now they want me to wait another 8 days for our furniture to be delivered. Doesn't it make sense that if I were the last one out on Wednesday, I should be the first one in on Thursday?

My guess is since our order is coming from Pearl River, La - they didn't have it loaded at any point during the day on Wednesday to actually deliver it.

Their solution? We can credit you back $25 of the delivery fee.

If I can find something similar to what we ordered, I'm going to cancel my entire order.

The last two furniture/appliance purchases I had delivered were both early. One was by a half hour. They called while I was driving home to meet them and I actually caught up with their delivery truck on my road while I was talking to them and just whipped around and led them the last mile. The second time they were 2 hours early and all I could tell the dude was to hang tight and I'd get there when I could get there.

Early is almost worse than late because I'm not prepared to take delivery at that point. If it's late, I'm at least ready to get the stuff when it arrives.
