Whites may be easier targets. The white couple maybe looked happy and perfect, and maybe that's what set him off.

Or, seriously, the kid may not feel anything at all. He may be incapable of hate, incapable of love. All he has are violent tendencies that he enjoys acting out.

The kid just looks like a sociopath to me.

I still don't understand your use of the term "motive" in this instance.

I wonder what made this victim appear weak.

you'd simply dismiss them and still insist it happens way more to us poor white people.

I don't think this way at all. Most white people are victims of viloent crime by white people and vice versa with black people. The whole hate crime law is stupid. Does it really matter if a guy kills someone for money or because of hate?

Robbery was the motive for what? Robbery was one of the crimes committed.

Nm, you're probably right. I didn't even consider that it may have been a hate robbery. Hate robberies are becoming all to common.

Could be his skinny, smaller frame. That would be my guess

Had to. Sorry. But you gotta go look up the definition of malice.

I'm just being argumentative. I hate the concept of hate crimes, and I'm trying to avoid working.

Good lord. The courts broadened the old common law definition of murder. It doesn't even require actual malice anymore. Do you think the prosecution wants to prove hatred for every murder trial?

For purposes of proof, intent is easier to prove than hatred or malice.

This is what you get when you raise generations of people who don't value life.

That article is really upsetting to people who have empathy. That empathy is what would keep you from shooting a man in the stomach for no reason even if you had some need to rob him.

Simeon was not raised to be empathetic. He has no frame of reference for even giving a damn that he just ruined what was shaping up to be a great life for that family. Why would he care? He never knew any kind of life like that.

People want to talk about the gun culture problem America faces. We don't have a gun culture problem; we have a black culture problem.

13% of the population are committing 65% of all violent crimes. Think about that! If you removed all gun crimes perpetrated by black people from the statistics, the US would have a lower crime rate than Belgium. That astounds me.

But let's continue to focus on the struggle and how unfair the system is.

I posted the same quote a couple of pages back and said it was worth repeating. Reason being because it is 100% true.

Not making excuses, but it's more about poverty than race. There are major cities such as Boston and Chicago that have white ghettos that rival Watts and Harlem.

There are more poor whites on food stamps than poor blacks and yet the 1/7 of the population that is black commits more than 2/3 of violent crimes in the US. Let's keep avoiding talking about what the real the problem is for fears of being called the "R" word. We shall just throw money at the problem in the form of handouts and beneficial programs that exclude everyone that isn't black. And we will live in blissful ignorance ever after.
