They are fun.

you can change the spur gear from a 52 to a 60 tooth and get it even faster.
It hauls arse with the 60 but you loose a little on low end affecting wheelies and burnouts.

Tuned exhaust is a must purchase.

It’s been a long road from old school cox powered stuff like this to the Traxxas Stampede I have now.

I crashed the bi-plane around 10 years ago and sold the other plane. Haven’t flown in 8 years or so. Was a fun, but, expensive hobby.

Nice, foamies have made things a lot cheaper. I buy them second hand mostly and fly em for awhile and sell them to try different things.

There is a few in my club that are super into turbines. They have some pretty big BVM turbines that are way out of my range. No way I would risk flying something like that

I built a balsa plane kit in the late 90s. Spent months cutting and gluing that thing together. Covered it in the blue see through shrink wrap stuff. It was pretty cool. Never flew it though, never bought an engine or servos and stuff. Moved a few times and carried it with me planning on fitting it out. Broke a wing on the last move and finally decided to let it go.

I seriously regret never getting it up in the air.

I have 3 TMaxx and one Traxxas Revo . I haven’t run them in years but my gosh-the fun I had hopping them up and running them.. Definitely more fun to run them with others. I also have a DJI Mavic Pro Drone and two Walkera. Drones. I do FPV. flying with the DJI and that is a game changer. The view through the DJI goggles is just awesome ! I love it!! I rarely fly the Walkera drones since getting the DJI. The flight controller in the DJI is just next level-super easy to fly!!
