I don't think they wanted to hire a pirate because they thought you might steal.

I also call bullshite. How does HuffPo get a story like this? Who brought it to them? How does one unknown person's job search make it to a major website?
Libs cultivating the Latino vote. Nothing more.

So...all of the jobs he was applying to were saying "No way, José"?

It's not true. There might be some racist employers out there, but not 100 employers a day racist. You're standing behind a secondhand story from a buzzfeed article. You have no ground to stand on.

Because being white and having more problems finding a job than this chump did, I know he's full of shite.

Anyone who puts any stock into this story lacks critical thinking skills.

Translation, I'm a board liberal so I'll believe it no matter what.
Answer the question. How does a major news outlet get a story like this?
Exactly. Now go home and slap your mother. She was clearly drunk when the plumber knocked her up.

Liberals have this victim mentality that is engrained in their party.

It might have helped if he just put an "e" instead of that Mexican e letter

As a white male conservative...
I have some sympathy. I don't know if anyone can do anything about it but it is what it is.
One one hand there is the approach of "Clean up your community and you won't continue to have this problem", and then there is the idea of "Minorities are constantly victimized and the real fault lies with all of you white males".
Neither is true and the truth lies somewhere in between. In my mind it is an unfixable problem that will be resolved, but many lifetimes from now.

Also companies have quotas to meet for diversity and he would be a prize.
Your logic of thinking doesn't even make any sense in regards to this topic. You come with the assumption that all blacks and Latinos have black and Latino sounding names. A company can meet their quota by hiring a black woman named Brittany instead of LaQuanda. That doesn't mean LaQuanda wasn't discriminated against because of her name. If you don't think the name on the resume matters then I can't really help you.

Ironically, Jose would be a lock if it were a med school application.

The article never mentioned what exactly he was applying for. For all we know he may have sent resumes to places outside the country
