My hot water took a minute or two to start working.. I assume it was because I only dripped the cold water and my hot water lines had frozen some.

House is on a slab. Water is coming out of the hot side for a couple minutes then it stops.

If you know where your pipes are coming into house then take a hair dryer and warm them up

Water heater tank or tankless? If tankless, go warm up the pipes in the unit on the side of your house.

Tankless. You think I try to thaw them out in 15 degree weather it would thaw out? Also, what would you use to heat it up?
