Frisco is in a more rural county

LOL whut? It's not Travis or Harris county, but Menard county it is not. There are plenty of ex-Californians living in the county, too. The left has infected what should be leans red all over places like Frisco, Fort Bend County, etc. Look at what happened with the house arrest in this case, what a joke.

Is it or is it not "more rural" than Travis, Harris, or Dallas counties? I never said or implied it was a straight up full red county.

Today his bond was reduced to $250,000 and he has been released.

He's on house arrest with an ankle monitor.

Dallas Morning News
quote:

While under house arrest, [the Judge] said [the suspect] will only be permitted to leave home with her permission — namely trips to his attorney’s office and meetings in court — and will need to be with an adult at all times.
quote:

[The DA's office] argued $1 million was “not unreasonable on its face,” calling the killing a “brutal murder.”

“I don’t know why we’re here,” he said of the hearing. “This crime has devastated our community. Our community needs confidence in its court system.”

After hearing from both sides, [the Judge] promised her decision was based on the law and the Constitution, not the court of public opinion, repeatedly stating the case had spurred “unprecedented” safety and security concerns for everyone involved.
quote:

[The suspect], who attended the hearing in a yellow jumpsuit with his wrists handcuffed in front of him, did not appear to visibly react when [the Judge] announced the bond reduction and firmly walked him through the conditions of his release.

“You can be over there in a box or you can be at home — do you understand me?” [the Judge] asked.

“Yes ma’am,” [the suspect] said.

Plus friends and family there videoing their child or sibling or boyfriend or girlfriend. Easy to believe someone was doing that and hearing the altercation moved their phone to catch them. If true, it would be devastating for the defense for it to get out before the trial, and it might be enough on its own to warrant a plea deal to avoid a possible death sentence.

No possibility of death or life without parole for a minor -- even those tried as an adult, and if I'm being honest, this type of crime doesn't warrant the penalty. In our current society, that's normally reserved for particularly heinous crimes like torture or rape that results in death. This is a stab and run, but while heinous, this isn't normally a crime we put people to death for.

This is stupid. Probably one of those Judges that runs as a Republican in Collin County only because that is the only way to win at least for now.

Judge should go inform his neighbors that they have an accused murderer and an admitted killer being allowed to remain at home based on the honor system.

So if a bondsman involved he just had to put down $25,000 after admitting he is a killer.

I just saw a picture of alleged Republican judge

I bet Anthony doesn’t live in her neighborhood. She may or may not have some actual Republican leanings as I don’t know anything about her, but she was 100% swayed by race here to lower down to $250,000 and have an honor system on him staying home.

Frisco is in two counties: Collin and Denton.

Denton is the more rural of the two but not what I would call rural, especially after the growth of the last 10 years.

I think he should go to prison for a long time, but regardless of the verdict Anthony will be a first-ballot Scared Pussy Hall of Famer. What sort of fricking man does something like that?

Other recent first-ballot Scared Pussy Hall of Famers include ZImmerman and Kyle Rittenhouse.

If the media and Obama wouldn’t have went full racial with it I wonder if Zimmerman would have gathered all the support he did here on this site and elsewhere

His case was sketchy as frick. He was the one following Martin the entire time. He was the one with a gun. He was the adult

And what we know now about him being a total POS as well

As usual a terrible attempt to link previous valid self defense actions to an act of aggression by a black male. Not even close to same situation.

By your judgement zimmer should have let the little thug beat him to death while on top of him, and Rittenhouse should have let a bunch of leftist antifada violent thugs during their riot take his rifle and use it on him to not be a pussy.

Zimmerman is a proven thug now and he was the one following Martin. That kinda aggressive behavior

Rittenhouse is nothing like this I agree
