good grief, I actually remember watching that...it was an early episode of Route 66 (that was nowhere near Route 66)

one of my dad's friends from work owned a camp at Caminida, we spent a week there back in the late 1950's and the water came from a cistern that was fed from gutters on the camp...

She (No Pics) is a vegetarian and would have to live there for three months. She currently lives in Fort Myers and has never been to Louisiana. Will she die?

Born and raised on the bayou. Been a vegetarian since I was 3. I'm still alive, I think?

Grand Isle is almost identical to Nantucket and the eastern end is close to Martha's Vineyard. There are a ton of vegetarian places scattered across the island such as Artie's. The shopping is out of this world too if she is into to high end retail.

My Aunt Pat had a cistern that we used the water to bathe with when I was young. I'm 39 and remember that.

As someone who now lives in Naples, coming from LA and have partied in GI, I am pretty certain your friend will not survive. RIP.

Some of the accents sound like a cross between the French in "Casablanca" and the Spanish republican guerrillas in "For Whom The Bell Tolls"...
