Hell, I'd hate to guess right now. If we are counting every time a storm put one down (which is pretty much how it will be) the north MS storm has put down a bunch.

SPC has 38 tornado reports today. That doesn’t mean there have been 38 separate tornadoes, but it indicates there have been a good number of them.

No, 38 is just the actual official reports of tornadoes SPC has received. Not sure how many individual tornado warnings have been issued.
