Maybe. There are those that have taken notice that he is a Democrat elected two times in a right leaning state. And the more people he can put out of work and onto the government teat the higher he goes in their esteem. Keeping his state locked up while all the Republican Governors around him are turning their states loose will certainly earn him a merit badge too.
