There's a possibility JBE will run for Senate against John Kennedy in 2022.

Would be a no risk, high reward move.

He wins, he gets to leave Baton Rouge a year early and live it up in DC for six years on our dime.

He loses, oh well, he has one year in office left before he moves on to serve on some medicaid board or a lobbyist gig.

The 2015 Vitter voters look like Prophets at this rate.

Glad I was a part of that crew and my 2015 vote is on record against JBE.

No chance in hell a sitting Governor would set himself up to get wiped off the floor like that. But I’d love to see him do that for the beatdown.

No risk, high reward.

In 2022, he would have just one year left in office and be mailing it in on the 4th floor at that point.

Would he be shameless enough to just roll the dice and see where it lands?

It would tarnish his legacy. He’s never lost an election. That means something to these freaks.

No sir. Nobody wants to leave their post as governor. Governors are basically kings in Louisiana. It's a more lucrative job than Senator and doesn't require living on the other side of the country.

The only way a Louisiana governor will run for anything else is if he's young and wants to be POTUS. (see Jindal)

He would have just one year left in 2022 before being forced out.

The Louisiana Governor makes 130,000 a year for 4 years with more responsibility.

US Senator makes 175,000 a year for six years with far less responsibility

Yeah I'm sure living in DC as a US Senator is so terrible that it's like living in the poor house.

Rispone would have business booming and the massage parlors fully operational.

Twice as many people would be dead, but we'd be able to sit shoulder to shoulder at the diner and enjoy our burgers!
