so LP, Zachary, Central, WBRP, Ascension all closed tomorrow.....wonder what EBRP gonna do.....they surrounded by closures

Decision about school tomorrow (Thurs. 1/18) will be made @ 3pm today (Weds. 1/17)

The RSD and the OPSB are continuing to monitor the forecast and coordinate with various agencies to gather information about current and expected road conditions. A decision regarding school operations for Thursday (1/18) will be made by 3:00 pm today (1/17)

This is what I am talking about... I live just off 190 in Walker and there is A TON more traffic than usual... 18-wheelers all over the place... I don't see I-12 being open tomorrow....

I get why LP and AP would close. Those parishes have way more backwoods and covered back roads than EBR does. It's gotta be hell getting around in the country on those two lane road through the woods right now.
