Fresh out of college, no real-world experience, no specialized degree. Salary expectation?

For a sales position.
Only experience is working part-time while in school.
I know we'll get some tree-fiddy replies and that is expected ... but if you are in a position to hire, what are you paying this type of person (based upon your company's budget and versus someone with experience)?
This is an entry-level associate position and is not in the car, medical or pharmaceutical sales industry. A man or woman could have success at this job. A degree is not required. This would be considered inside sales, however a balance between doing outreach with people and businesses of influence plays a large role in the day-to-day life of this sales person.
And if you are a millennial, what are your salary expectations?
I should not have been surprised at the response I received earlier this week, based upon what I have read on here - but I was --- I actually thought many were "joking" about the millennial and their requirements.

What’s the commission potential? Pretty important factor.

$50k is about average for my company straight out of college. You can make as much as you want though if you’re good. Performance based income is uncapped.
For the retards in the room, it’s not $50k base FFS. I’m talking total.

2k draw plus a commission if you want to make it a commissioned position. And by draw I mean 2k per month base salary guaranteed plus whatever commissions are earned.
If it is pure a salaried position in sales, 35k.

I was floored when I asked about their salary expectations. The response I received is that I would not settle for less than $70K base salary.
In Baton Rouge.
I hope this person finds what they're looking for, because I am not able to offer it to them.
Crawl before you walk people.

Not much. Honestly, you just need to get your foot in the door and gain some experience in the field that you want to be in. You can then leverage that into something more. Salary should be at the bottom of your list at this point.
