What the French don't understand is that this isn't a war of words fought in some debate room...it's a war of action fought on our streets and amongst us. I use the term war because of islam's attempt to systematically spread fear and terror among civilized people who dont share their ideals by killing and maiming as many "non-believers" as possible. While all Muslims are not bad, there a significant portion who although don't engage in terrorism, either support it directly or indirectly through inaction and/or "turning a blind eye", or by literally dancing in streets.

i don't understand how, in these times, someone could be opposed to temporarily halting Muslim immigration to reevaluate our screening process.

That was bad, admittedly, but obviously the true tragedy is people looking at Muslims with disdain on the street in the weeks after the attack

Yeah, disdainfully looking at a group of folks responsible or 150 deaths and x2 wounded in 2 attacks in 10 months is such a tragedy.

In response, organizers of two French festivals said Hughes’ remarks were irresponsible and further fanned the flames of hate.

How very Vichy of them.

That seems like a pretty tame comment from someone who saw 90 people get murdered in front of him.

I guess you could make the argument that the promotors are scared of terrorist attacking their festivals.

Exactly. Then saw the Muslims celebrating the massacre in the streets.

The problem is pansy arse socialist policies and worrying More about not offending their muzzie invaders than about their own damn people, not the French military.

They hit their peak at Austerlitz.

Really, Austerlitz was their peak? France decisively beat two Empires at Austerlitz: Russia and Austria.

Then a year later, Prussia dared to declare war on France. Prussia was utterly annihilated, their armies smashed to pieces.

Then a year later, France beat back Russia again. Prussia tried to help Russia but it didn't matter.

Then a year after that Austria tried a surprise attack on France. France responded and the German speaking peoples SURRENDERED AGAIN, making it THREE times in only four years that the Germans surrendered to the French!

THREE GERMAN SURRENDERS IN ONLY FOUR YEARS!

IN any event, it's promoters cancelling the concerts, not the French people. For all we know, the promoters MIGHT BE KRAUTS !

It got SO BAD for the Sour Kraut Eaters that they had to offer up their most beautiful Princess to marry the French Emperor in the hopes that Nappy would spend some time fricking instead of wiping the floor with Kraut-eaters.

Don't forget that France beat Germany again at the Battle of the Marne AND for the win of the whole Great War in 1918.

The promoters who cancelled the concerts are Germans.

The French are fighting ISIL right now.

Your ignorance is only exceeded by your arrogance. Insulting your allies WHILE THEY are fighting ISIL/Daesh is the height of Kraut and Limey ignorance and arrogance.
