Chocolate city FTW

When asked to explain his chocolate city comment after it was blowing up in the news, this was his response. "How do you make chocolate? You take dark chocolate, you mix it with white milk and it becomes a delicious drink. That's the chocolate I'm talking about."

I don’t know why I always found that so funny. Maybe because the media was tripping out, and he was just screwing around. He never seemed like the type to take himself too seriously.

The least surprising thing in this thread so far is Louisiana voters wishing they could support another felon politician.

And they wonder why Louisiana will always be last

Of course.

There's a reason this state is pretty much dead last in every meaningful statistical category.

That said, yes, he'd likely be improvement over the current administration.

That was his best moment. He sounded so frickin' goofy when he said it.

You could say that about 99% of the population. I wouldn’t hire any of the 3 to run a snowball stand.

He was corrupt before Katrina. He tried steering a million dollars to a photographer buddy of his (who is the father of a prominent celebrity poet ) for fake consultant work related to the Municipal Auditorium renovation. The IG shut that shite down. He should have been charged there and then.

Like most political crooks, he didn't break the law once & got caught once". Perhaps not as corrupt as EWE but he was far from one & done.
