I logged the bottles into evidence and turned them over to the sherrif's dept. They're going to run UPC codes and see if matched any of the perps credit card numbers
This is a pretty stupid thing to say. None of it makes any sense. Everything you typed out is complete bullshite.

From a free market perspective, I agree. What I wish would happen, is that places that suddenly raise all of their prices, would sell all that they have. Then all of the folks who bore that burden would note who did it and make it KNOWN and NEVER buy from them again.
That is precisely how the free market works. It is also worth noting that price gouging on basic goods that you already have in stock is an entirely different animal than naming your price for a service that is in high demand. If someone wants to charge $50/hr to pull out wet carpet and someone will pay, no problem IMO.

Had a few people riding around my neighborhood last night drinking wine and getting children drunk. With the arrest authority given to our citizen watch, we were able to aprehend the perps, confiscate their truck, and detain the kids until child protective services came. I think they'd had 3 bottles of merlot, or Chablis, on their persons at the time of the arrest
Please go to the evidence locker and check. Inquiring minds want to know.

Wasn't there a daycare offering daily daycare services to flood victims and charging almost double their normal day rate the last few days? When other places were charging their normal day rate.

This whole concept just blows my mind.
I can't tell if you're playing along or really that stupid.

100%, I would never stop for any non marked car. I may slow down and call the police to confirm it is a real pullover, but too easy to get a crown vic and a light and play cop.
That's a good way to get your tires blown out by a citizen patrolman, potnuh

If that is true it's disgusting. Post the name of the daycare.

Especially if people in street clothes get out guns drawn.

Do you know what they're increased costs were?
If you were a daycare employee, would you wade and drive through water to take care of kids at your "normal" wages? I might be more motivated to come to work if double-time was offered.
I love how everyone gets insulted just because a biz charges higher prices, no matter the situation.

I'm not sure what the day care was. My girlfriend showed me their post on the facebook advertising this. Pretty sure they were high and dry offering it to people leaving flooded zones.
Duly noted. The flood victims are by all means free to utilize the other day cares charging normal prices. I didn't realize I was insulted
