FWIW the 00Z Icon brings back devlopment with the Gulf stuff and makes a landfall in SOuthwest Louisiana little over 5 days. Also bring the wave out in Atlantic southwest of Jamaica in little over 7 as a decent hurricane

Guess this is the down cycle on the system. CMC nothing, GFS has something weak heading toward the Yucatan

Now the GFS 06z has it near Lake Chuck.
It is still too early and unpredictable to know for sure.
If anyone tells you where it is going and it is a lock, ask for a tip on LSU vs. USC game and do the opposite.

So on that run it looks like a Laura/Delta redux. Strong cat 3 at landfall and still a solid cat 2 in Ruston. Terrible.

Relax that will change. They actually lowered the odds to 40% for this update. Think main reason is models keep delaying devlopment. Think main take away sometime late next week there will be something near Jamaica. Whether it gets going more little before or after who knows. Stronger it can get before Yucatan more likely it would head north vs it stays weak and gets buried down there.

10 days out this is what you want to see because it’ll never be accurate especially with no storm even formed
