Anybody with Houma people, is it possible to get in there today from Baton Rouge? I need to check on my store down that way if possible, just wasn't sure if they were letting people in.
Same thing with Laplace. Is it accessible or flooded out?

Now that Francine is out of the way, it looks like we could go 7-10 days or maybe even the rest of September with no additional Gulf threats.

Yeah, my vpn for work is displaying some janky messages even though we “have a internet connection”. Probably some internal routes in att’s network is out.

If its sending you to the at&t splash page, AT&T service is out. If you have fiber, look on your box on the wall and if its lit up red next to alarm, its a problem with AT&T and not your equipment.

I'll piggyback on this to say Cox in new orleans is having issues as well. no timetable for restoration that I've seen.

The path that it actually took was outside of the cone. And it basically went straight on its established trajectory

According to what I saw on the radar, the eye was fricking huge and widened even more once it made landfall. I’ve never seen anything like it.

4pm and 7pm updates:

actual path

looks in the cone to me

on the east side of the cone, but remember, the line is useless. inside of the cone is the forecast
