Well, we all would prefer it to just disappear but at this point, it looks like LA is getting it so it might as well not be Lake Charles in my biased opinion
Well if it does go to Lake Charles (not hoping for it to hit anywhere) would you (or any other poster)know where we might could setup? A few years ago Here To Serve setup at the Open Gate Cowboy Church but we have drastically increased the size of our operation (4 trailers now) and they dont really have the room we need to setup.
I contacted St Margarets Catholic Church several weeks ago but never heard back from them. If anyone knows of a place with a decent size parking lot, preferably with 2 entrances so cars can come and go out of our drive thru delivery system easier please email me at
alphaandomegatd@gmail.com.
And if anyone has a place anywhere else they can contact me. Its better to have contacts in places and never need them than to try to make contact after the fact.
Thanks

Is that rainfall? That seems like a lot around Houston area. Louisiana has been drenched past few days too with nonstop rain and flooding.

If you want a decently moving system to dump a lot of rain on Houston, you can't draw up a better approach/path than what the Canuck shows right now.

Well we want don’t want a bunch do rain in Houston. So we don’t like the Canuck.

Your in north Alabama right? We respond to tornados too. Email me some contact info and we will add it to the list of places.
We usually stay for about a week in hurricane areas. Tornados just until power is mostly restored and roads cleared. We can stay longer but in the past that usually works.
We started with 2 of us and a tailgate trailer and some big coolers and in 4-5 years to a full mobile commercial kitchen trailer with 6 burner range, griddle, convection ovens, tilt table, multiple freezers\fridges. Another trailer has our smoker and all the canned goods, another trailer has our new propane smoker and more freezers and we have a sleeping camper. All powered by diesel generators. All we need is a place to setup and running water for cleanup.

Nah, bud......I was just joking because that's some fine looking food in your pics.
Y'all do good work, and I know you all will be around if/when it is needed.

First Baptist Church Moss Bluff
Trinity Baptist Church - South Lake Charles
Both churches have hosted relief efforts during past disasters, and have room to set up
