Why would the sun be up? The match didn’t end until about about midnight France time.

Not sure about this video.

"This looks like the beginning of a civil war!"

A bit dramatic there, Mario.

And it's been night in France since the end of the game.

Fake news.

Meh, that’s nothing compared to NY after the Knicks win.

I worked with a guy from England, but married a woman from the US... He lived in Georgia. He was a soccer fan and his son was a fan as well, but had never been out of the US so he wanted to bring him to a "real" soccer match so he took his son to where he was from and they went to a soccer game and then to a pub after. He said who was playing and evidently it was a big deal, but he said that an old car that was painted orange was set on fire and people were pushing it down the road. In celebration...

I get happy when my teams win, but I have never thought "lets paint an old car our team's team colors and if they win we can set that bitch on fire and push it through the streets". I think titling it "France is burning" is exaggerating. Evidently that's what those Euro countries do. Here in the states people will burn a couch or whatever... But like the Saints.. What did people do when the Saints won the Super Bowl or when LSU wins a national championsip? People just drink and celebrate.. What is it with everyone else burning shite?

Some of you want so desperately for the world to be a terrible place. I’ll never understand it.

Their country is being conquered by migrants and nothing happens. Their soccer team loses and there are major riots. They deserve what is coming to them.

The number of people on the internet who almost relish the idea of chaos and civil war is bizarre. The Politics board has a whole subset of posters who do this.

I loved during the game they went to the crowd after a Spain goal to show some France fans. Just rags heads in French jerseys. Gave me a good chuckle.
