Jimmy comes to South Africa (and sometimes Namibia or Botswana) quite frequently. When he does, he easily drops more than a quarter million dollars on a single trophy hunt.
Like on this trip, when he butchered an EXTREMELY ENDANGERED female Black Rhino. She was the very last black rhino in the Mangetti National Park. Buying her just to kill her and take her horn (as a trophy) cost Jimmy over $350,000 dollars. He doesn’t seem to mind spending that much though does he? Just look how happy he is!

Oh look. Here’s another elephant he killed for fun. Are you aware that poachers ALONE kill 94 elephants a day? That’s far more elephants dying before they can even reproduce. Between poachers and jerkoffs like this, Africa is losing its big game very quickly. It is highly likely that elephants and rhinos can (and probably will be) completely extinct in the wild within the next decade.

I actually don't get the appeal of big game hunting. Shouldn't you only kill what you eat?

I don't either
But I bet it can be intense if a rhino charges

I don't eat jimmy johns because it tastes like cardboard, not because some wealthy owner hunts big animals in his spare time

Good for him. As long as he does it legally, more power to him.

some consider luring animals off of national parks poaching.
He has been accused of poaching. Yet he can pay off officials so no harm no foul I guess. Won't affect my opinion of the restaurant. I do think killing Rhinos and Elephants is pretty stupid.

"Them Rhinos ain't frickin. This American will give us enough money for that water well if he can kill one."

The older I get, the less I like killing shite just for sport. I'm not against anyone doing it, but it's just not my thing.

Tasteless sandwiches loaded with cheap mayonnaise and a criminal founder to boot. No thanks Jimmy John's.

Shooting an animal that's an easy target like an elephant is as lazy as hunting fenced in deer.

Looks like he should add whole grain and wheat bread to the menu.
either way, not a hunter here but I love the sandwiches and will still frequent.

Anytime they ask one of these schmucks why they do it they say "for the rush".
