God CNBC and MSM couldn't be more inept if they tried. Journalism is full either retards or just rotten to the core dishonest people.
In something as innocent as this story they can't tell the facts. In the video the guy says He dropped out of High School and their a half-billion dollar biz.
In the tweet they say dropped out of college and going for a Billion dollars.
I'm being ticky-tacky but Jesus something so simple shouldn't be hard to get correct.

if you had bothered to listen, he dropped out of both. 1-800 Got Junk is a 1/2 billion on it's own. But between the 3 brands, he is getting close to a billion.

The 3 combine for $500mm CAD. So no, “between the 3 brands” they are in the exact middle of being a billion dollar business. Plus that is $367mm US.
Still a super impressive story though. Dude dropped out of high school and college (with only a year or less left in each) to start a trash removal business and grew it to almost half a billion in yearly revenue.

I just finished the book "the millionaire next door". You would be surprised how many blue collar companies make people multi millionaires.

A lot of people associate being a millionaire with disposable income and big house and fancy things. My grandpa is a millionaire with assets and he doesn't even realize it. If you ask him, he would just be getting by lol

I don’t know exact percentages but it is true. Most millionaires are self Made 1st generation sole business owners.
