Zenith 3 space command. Saw it and was instantly brought back to my youth. Grandpa and Grandma had this wood grained big screen in the living room.

Is there any use or value to it? Supposedly still works just can't find the remote

What is the buyer pool for that?

I can’t imagine anyone wanting it.

You used "The Force" to change channels, we were too dumb to make that work.

It has zero value as a TV. It’s only worth anything if you want take the time to repurpose it as an aquarium or a bar, or some other piece of furniture.

There may still be a small group of Hobbyists of the Radio/TV genre who would enjoy having this. Before all TV signals switched to Digital, it was possible to watch TV on these old sets.

Isn't there some kind of Digital Converter that can be utilized to make this TV set work? If so, there would be some interest in this old TV set, if you can find a Hobbyist that would be interested.

Depends if you get visitors in the "snow"

If not, and it is tubes, not transistor's is makes a great space heater!

Looks better than this in your living room.

Makes for a great tv stand for your flat screen. That's what my dad did when his broke and he bought a new tv.

The viewing angle was better too from his lazy boy.

We had a TV much like that when I was a kid. Of course, like literally everything else in our house other than groceries, it came from Sears & Roebuck.

I'm still wrestling whether to pick it up. I'd have to drive back home, get the Grizz, get someone else to help me lift it, and get it back home and figure a place for it.

The lady told me I could have it but it's not a small thing

200. I might be able to manhandle it in by myself but don't want to hurt my back

Tubes, CRT and flyback transformers haven't seen or worked on one in decades. Don't plug it in, dust, corrosion and component age can create quite a lot of smoke and high voltage sparks.

Nerds and gamers would want it. Old gaming consoles look better on old TV's. There is definitely a market for it with them.

Imagine modern lawyers!

I personally remember tube TV's firing up and burning down houses.

The old tubes threw out lots of heat and attracted dust like a magnet. If you did not clean the tubes, very likely they would start a fire.

When I graduated college, I went to work for NEC and we were building console TV's.
