"It's an intermediate host with a rat, and if humans get this into their bodies, possibly, it could get into their brains and cause a lot of problems, maybe even coma, maybe even death," O'Connell said.

Killer hallucinogenic. Put them in a bong and smoke it.

Damn a saw a lot of those at Palmetto state park a few weeks ago. I had no idea they had a crazy parasite in them.

Only if you're dumb enough to eat those eggs raw or the snail, will you have the possibility of rat lungworm.

Didn’t some kid die from rat lungworm by eating a slug as a dare not long ago?

Make a roux baw.
Seriously though, don’t frick with those.

Snails/slugs are a pretty common host for rat lungworm. Remember that kid in Australia who ate a slug and became paralyzed and then slipped into a coma? That’s what he contracted.

If you touched it, go to the hospital immediately.

I think it’s only if you ingest it or put your fingers in your mouth after you touch it.
