Wrong. POTUS does not fly on any airplane besides AF1. It's the safest place for him to be during a crisis. The decoy you heard about is the second AF1. There are 2 identical planes that both fly when POTUS is in the air. Nobody outside of his staff knows which one of the two he is on though.

"Air Force One" is a designation that the AF uses for ANY AF aircraft that POTUS flies on. The actual planes are two VC-25s, SAM 28000 and 29000.

Except he didn't. He perhaps was well meaning- but he plunged our country into an emotional atavism that includes war, xenophobia, and pussy arse cowboy rhetoric. He gets no pass from me even if he was misguided. His wife was the saving grace of his Presidency.

What an amazing few days that was. I started out that day in a Federal Building and it happened while I was in a meeting. We ended the meeting and went to a conference room that had CNN. We watched the second building come down and they then evacuated the building.
