It's not like this is some new law. They're called jailbait for a reason. It's 1000% not worth it.
Kids that young don't think about that stuff. They are thinking about getting their nut.

The thing almost as disturbing as the pleading is that the DA went the extra mile to humiliate the young man by issuing a press release. These days just an arrest is almost a life sentence.
In 20 years someone will be able to go on the internet and see this. It is wrong, it is his life and is forever changed because of some bitch who was scared of her boyfriend finding out she slept around.
The DA is a tool.

So a girl can frick her brains out the night before, regret it the next morning and try to polish her tarnished lily white image by accusing the boy of rape. There should be recourse against the girl. Last time I looked, we had dicks for a reason and they had pussies for a reason - essentially the same reason.

Story re-emerging because he just now plead to the misdemeanor charge. I think that most people will see through this and that Pryce will be just fine. Girl will have to live with the guilt of what she did for the rest of her life.

What makes it even more fricked up is that at first she tried to say he raped her, all because she didn’t want her boyfriend to find out he cheated.

She didn't get kicked out of Parkview either. She's just a bad human being.

Sad reality of the world we live in today. Guy's life is ruined just because the gal slutted it up one night and felt guilty. I'll be teaching my son when he gets of age to never, ever plow a drunk chick under any circumstances because of stories like this.

I thought if the age difference was two years it was OK.
Surprisingly, La. doesn't have a close in age exemption. I'm almost certain they did recently, legislature must have abolished it. That's pathetic. Almost every state has that exemption.
Actually, there is a 3 year rule but that only applies if both parties are juveniles. If this had happened 1 day before he turned 18, he would not have been charged. The age of consent in Louisiana is technically 17, at that point you can have sex with anyone you want. I suspect the whole driver here was the girls parents, doubtful any reasonable DA pushes this forward otherwise. Not sure how this works in terms of the sex offender registration. It kind of sucks for the kid.

I seriously doubt "guilt" or "shame" are in her vocabulary.

All of this is wrong.
There is a two year gap down to the day. So 18 year old born in August is committing a misdemeanor by having sex with a 16 year old born in September. If the 18 year old was born in October, then there is no criminal wrongdoing.
While this case sucks for this kid, remember that at the end of the day this is a misdemeanor. It's basically one step above a ticket.
The worst part of this case is that there was no consequence for a clear false rape allegation.
