Former counselor pleads guilty to having sex with student

Clairyssa Lorenz, 27, was charged Tuesday of sexual contact with a student. A warrant has been issued with a $25,000 bond attached.
Lorenz was also charged out of Moniteau County March 1 with second-degree statutory rape and sexual contact with a student.

A probable cause statement indicated deputies received a report Feb. 13 of sexual contact between Lorenz and a 16-year-old student. The student had admitted to investigators of having sexual relations with Lorenz on multiple occasions and in multiple Moniteau County locations. He also said the two had relations at a residence in Pilot Grove.
The teen told investigators it was before he had turned 17 years old.
