Paid only $10k over MSRP but the dealer threw in a bedliner spray and some truck nuts. I was a happy camper.

I have heard that is pretty normal. Also heard they hold their value amazingly.

When I see someone driving a raptor I automatically assume they have a below average IQ and make poor financial decisions. They most likely have 2-3 4 wheelers and a boat on a 84 month loan as well. And wear white Oakley’s.

But, go for it Brah.

Reasons why I love Ford threads on the OT.

I want an old g-wagen so I read G-wagen forums. There seem to be a lot of new g-wagen owners that also own Raptors. Are Raptors the baw equivalent of mall-crawling g-wagens?

I paid $1000 over for my 18 in early October 17. They did go about $1000 over what I expected on my trade. There are more on lots now, just shop all over and be willing to drive/ship.

I have owned all types of german and japanese sport sedans and sports cars. The raptor is as close as I have ever felt to those in handling in a truck. Great steering and the ride is plush and firm at the same time.

In Feb 2011, I bought a 2010 6.2L fully loaded for 42k. Sticker was 49.5k. Sold it in 2016 with 137k miles for 32k. It drove just as good when I sold it as it did new.

I agree to some degree. It had incredible body roll. But just so composed whole carrying all that weight.

I speak from a long line of poor financial car decisions. Not from a Dave Ramsey financial lecture.

Agreed but at least Raptors bring the resale money. My buddy lost 70k in 2 years on an RS7.

Thats what makes a 4 year rs7 so appealing.

Then you own one...
