EVs are good at straight line acceleration. They're not really good at being fun to drive (Mustang), or useful for work (Lightning), yet. I don't care if people want to buy them, but I wish they weren't trying to force or nudge us to buy them.

Im not pro or anti EV. I think in the right situation an EV could make a great work commuter.
But if that was the case for me I'd buy a model 3 way before a Mach-E...or any other EV.
But for now Im fine with my 3.0 baby Duramax.

Hey look another person posting about something they have no clue about. Mustang Mach E design is amazing and gets compliments all the time. Dealers are having trouble moving them because people are ordering directly and not wanting to be price gouged by insane markups the dealers are trying to charge.

The day Uncle Sam and the automakers are serious about this shite, and wanna see the public join in, they’ll sell the cars for 20 to 30K with subsidies for maintenance/battery replacement/etc..like solar panels for homes.
Not 70 to 100K, where only rich folk, wealthy Libs, Ed Begley and Kevin Bacon,etc..can feel good driving to Van Nuys & John Wayne airports to then hypocritically fly private jets out across the world.

We have a couple Chevy Bolts in our work fleet, and they're a lot of fun to drive. The instant torque of the electric motor is fun for me
0-60 around 6 seconds, 1/4 mile in under 15 seconds. Pretty good numbers for econoboxes.
