Took the kids to a water park the other day, and I couldn't help but notice the 100+ handicapped parking spots.

Don't get me wrong, I know grandparents often take kids to parks, and there are all types of disabilities.

But there are no ADA compliant water slides. If you went to the park, you'd be sitting in a chair, hanging out in the wave pool, or MAYBE the lazy river, but not likely.

My grandad was crippled at a young age, and bound to a walker and eventually a wheelchair. When we'd go somewhere, he would never park in a handicapped spot, always saying that was for people that needed it.

Now? You can get a permit for being fat. Or having anxiety. Or just asking for one.

I have to park two blocks away at Lowes because of:

1 - 50 handicap spots unused
2 - 10 pregnant mother spots unused
3 - 30 curbside spots unused
4 - 20 military veteran spots unused
5 - 15 employee of the month spots unused
5 - 15 LGBTQ? spots unused

Been to the airport lately, every lardass in America is in a wheelchair or riding the scooter golf cart thingy.

Downside to flying Southwest with the open seating is when they allow the "handicappers" wheel chair bound frauds and their 10 family members to board taking the good seats.

How many handicap spaces they have is mandated by commercial building code requirements, itvis not their decision, and obviously not based on common sense.
