I wonder how many U.S. patients died this year of Wuhan Flu that we’ve chalked up to seasonal flu/pneumonia.

I came back from eagle county Colorado two weeks ago (Corona Hot Bed). On way back from MSY I developed a persistent dry cough, next day fever of 102-101 range. Went to get tested was told didn’t have a 103 or higher fever. Took me three days to beat it, and the cough lingered for about five days total. Chills here and there then this past week I lost taste/smell.

I had every single symptom. Fever was 104.5 when I went to Oschner. However, I tested positive for both flu (type A) and pneumonia. They told me it was possible I could have Corona also (although highly unlikely) but there was no point in testing me because I hadn't been out of the country.

Scratchy throat, minor cough all last week. No idea if it was corona, allergies, or something else. Normally I would scarcely take notice of it. Under the circumstances it has me wondering.

Crazy, I had the same symptoms with the palpitations in late January. Really weird feeling that lasted for 2 days with the virus.

Currently covid positive though.

Enjoyed a few days of Mardi Gras.

About a week later, I went to urgent care with a fever, with zero nasal congestion. My fever was short lived, lasting only 18 hours or so. But I had such a bad cough that my chest hurt. That’s why I went to urgent care. It was painful.

Back in November, I already had the flu. I tested negative for flu this time. But still had flu symptoms. Got a steroid shot, a z pack, and cough medicine. I asked the doctor about Coronavirus, and he then listened to my chest. He told me that my congestion was not deep enough in my lungs. And that at age 41, I shouldn’t worry.

It honestly was not as bad as the flu I’d had previously. However, clearly this virus is playing Russian roulette, killing some but not all.

The weird symptom was when I laid down on my back it felt like I was having heart palpitations

I’ve been having this all week... never had it before, nothing even close. Blood pressure/ heart rate totally normal.

Hard to not be paranoid with all this shite going around

I’m positive I had it a month ago. Had a cough that came from nowhere, not really any legit fever, and spent my arse in the bathroom.

It was legit for about 5 days. Knocked me on my arse. Didn’t eat 2 of those days.

Good now!

An EMS physician in Florida took the antibody test and he tested positive for past infection. Said the only time he was sick this year was in January

Yep.

In early Feb, wife (no pics) and I went to Lafayette from Texas for a Mardi Gras ball. 5 days later we both had fever, chills, cough and chest pains with shortness of breath.

I went to a walk-in to get tested for flu and they said they were out of tests (odd), but didn't have any visible flu symptoms. Next day after that we both felt fine but the cough is still lingering.

I'd say it was 2-4 days of feeling bad then almost 2 months of lingering shite.

My doctor told me Monday that I have it. Wouldn’t order a test bc my symptoms aren’t that bad, I’m not at risk, and the tests take too long to come back

Exposed at work, have a couple coworkers test positive, even hospitalized. Symptoms of low grade fever, some coughing, body aches, and the worst headache I’ve ever had. Symptoms lasted 48 hours in total, except for the cough which is lingering. Wasn’t nearly as bad as flu for me. Didn’t take any meds except Tylenol and vitamin C supplements

I've had a burning sensation in my a-hole for the last 3 days and slight tingling in my penis.

If COVID was around that early we’d be seeing the same hospital and death statistics spiking as well. I don’t get the logic.

One explanation, without getting into conspiracy theories, is: the less virulent S strain was around early. Then L wrecked house re: severity.

They're going to have an antibody test for you to know soon enough.

I'd pay for it for anyone here who claims to have had it between November 2019 and mid January 2020 if their antibody test proves it. Seems so many here think they got it before it even started in China.
