Back the Blue of Baton Rouge, which was formed in the wake of the tragic 2016 murders of Corporal Montrell Jackson, Officer Matthew Gerald, and Deputy Brad Garafola, has set up a fund where 100% of the proceeds will go to Officer Shane Totty’s fiancee and his young daughter

Thanks for posting.
Certainly a tragedy.
A similar accident occurred here in Tuscaloosa years ago, a motorcycle cop killed during a funeral procession. Immediately after that, the city quit the practice of escorting funerals.

lol dude it’s a fricking internet “downvote.” It doesn’t mean anything. I don’t even understand why you people pay any attention to that

I think some people downvote to say that the story is tragic.
It’s kind of like the turn the AC up vs down debate.

I’m really not concerned about downvotes. Means nothing at this time.
My only concern is to try and help raise money for Officer Totty’s daughter and fiancé by bringing attention to his fundraiser.
My hope is that some posters and/or lurkers will find it in their heart to donate to his fund to help this poor family out.

I just took the time to downvote everyone except for OP. I hate all of you equally, but thank you Speedy for the link. He sounds like he was a good dude.

That is a dumb and sky screamer response. Did they quit it for motorcycle cops or quit doing funeral escorts all together? If they just quit it for motorcycle cops did they also disband their motorcycle division? It sucks I get it but bikes are more dangerous than cars. It just the nature of the beast.
