I’m 25. I run the irregular belt at UPS, but I should be driving making 80k a year by now. They don’t want me to go because I run the belt so well. It’s a shite show in that place.

I've read this sentence and still dont know what situation you're trying to convey. So they come to you with a simple problem and you ignore them so they get upset??

I’m not the boss. I’m the employee.

Maybe the issues and the solution aren't as simple as you think they are

What do you do/how do you react when an employee comes to you with concerns and lays out legitimate issues that could be simply solved then blows up on you when you continue to not help said employee with said concerns.

One of my favorite conversations to have with employees goes something like:

"My job first and foremost is to ensure what is best for my employees. If you feel your position isn't best for you at this time, let me know, and I will do my best to assist you in finding a position internally or externally that suits your needs at this time.

FWIW, I've worked in corporate settings for big companies and have to deal with HR, so simply saying "If you don't like it then leave" isn't really an option, but that quote above gets the job done every time.

ETA: Only caveat, if the blowup was a legit blowup, then I'd definitely look into a write-up or termination depending on just how bad said blow up was.

Gotcha....context is helpful. I have employees who come to me with problems that I am needed to solve, in which case I solve them. I also have employees who come to me with petty drama or a situation that they could easily handle on their own. In the latter situation, I find a nice way to say, "this is your responsibility to handle" or something like that. What exactly are you all up in arms that the boss wouldn't help with.

If it’s a female I tell her she could put her mouth to better uses than complaining

You come across as extremely immature, which might explain why your supervisor doesn't immediately address your concerns to your satisfaction/seem to take you seriously.

If you are unhappy with your job, find another one. Remember that you are completely replaceable, regardless of how crucial you find yourself to be.

I want to work for UPS because it’s a good career, but I have to move up to do so. Drivers can make around 100k a year after 15-20 years. Plenty of people never sniff that with degrees. The problem is once you show how good of a worker you are, they try to keep you in the warehouse because people quit every day. They hired 30 people last week and 7 people were left on Monday.

My main issue is my job has stuck me with supervisor duties without paying me or promoting me.
Time to sharpen up that resume.

Meet with your boss, explain the additional role and duties you're taking on and ask for a raise.

If he says no, use said sharpened resume to find new job.

Sounds like a situation you need to get out of quickly, even asking for the raise is probably a bad idea, probably best to just get out when you can.

Bro, they called me when I was in the hospital with my wife having our first child during covid and said they hope I made it to work the next day. They need me in there. Everyone who orders anything over 75 lbs or over a certain length in Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka, and many other places, goes through my hands every morning and no one else in there wants to deal with that stuff. It’s heavy and I am lifting a lot of by myself. There’s 2 of us but one of us is usually running it out while the other is doing the work (me). 4 people quit last year that were hired to help me and I had them doing the easy part. It’s horrible.

Simple rule for those who work for me. Do not bring me a problem without a list of your potential solutions. I don’t mind helping, but I’m not going to give step by step how to solve the issue if you yourself do not try and solve it first.

That’s a cop out. I’ve heard it before but never from a good supervisor

Can't, or will not?

It all comes down to communication. Sounds like this employee has poor communication skills.
