quote:This is true. I can't imagine NFTs staying at these prices for long because everyone is starting to make them. Maybe the ones that can be used and transferred while playing games, but the art/pics, I think that will come to an end fairly soon. Crypto is here to stay and frick the government for trying to get involved.
In all seriousness, Roger, start exploring that possibility again. Things have changed significantly with photography over the past 2-3 years. NFTs have inflated the value of photography, particularly Nature photography, to unprecedented levels. It can be a bit daunting, and I'm not sure how long it will last or how well the values will hold, but it may be worth a shot. There are quite few sucker....I mean customers out there looking to spend crypto these days.
I hate how 4 mayors have already said they'll take Bitcoin as payment. Because we all know, if it were to lose it's value, well since it then will have affected politicians pockets something will "have to be done" and they'll try to regulate it. Being the whole notion is to decentralize finance and other things, I'm not sure if they can do it, but it could hurt the value, as we've seen previously when they've mentioned talks about regulations. Of course, that's always after big losses to people probably heavily invested in Bitcoin.

It's apparent that they are trying to throw the case. We've seen this in political cases before, where the prosecutors present the case in a manner to get the result they want.
They're presenting the only case they have.

From Reddit
quote:
So today, Gauge (the third person shot) testified:
• ?That he himself lied about losing / dropping his own gun. He didn’t drop it, he had it up to the point he was shot
• ?That his own concealed carry license had expired (which means he himself was illegally carrying concealed in that day)
• ?That he himself had omitted mentioning he had a gun in his police statement and in his civil suit
• ?That he wasn’t involved with the Revolution group, even though he had made some speeches for them
• ?That he never saw Kyle do anything threatening before the first shooting
• ?That he himself lied about saying that when he met Kyle after the first shooting, that Kyle said he was “working the police”. When Kyle actually said he was “heading to the police”
• ?That he wasn’t “chasing” Kyle even though he was running towards Kyle after the first shooting
• ?That he saw “jump kick guy” standing over Kyle with his foot raised
• ?That he saw Huber hit Kyle in the head with a skateboard and was “concerned” about Kyle possibly suffering traumatic brain injury, which was why he approached Kyle
• ?That Kyle did not shoot him when Gauge stopped and put his hands up and it was only when he had his gun pointed in Kyle’s general direction from 3 feet away that Kyle shot him (at which point the prosecution facepalms)

Court TV only has snippets of when the prosecution was questioning him lol... They are so fricking liberal.

It really is likely to crash hard. You will never convince me that photography, particularly, that had a very limited and fairly established value two years ago is all of the sudden infinitely more valuable and is worth more than all licensing values from that same time period.
Sure, people are paying high dollar for it now, but what will the next "collector" be willing to pay for it? That remains to be seen, and I'm not at all convinced that the value is real and/or sustainable.
I also think that right now a good photographer can make a boatload of money simply by undercutting other photographer's perceived value. The, "Don't undervalue your work!" crowd is sitting on alot of overpriced artwork right now. Most of it will never sell, even in this overinflated market.

It actually fortunate Kyle just vaporized his bicep as his testimony was a huge help for the defense.
