This is your chance to stand up against the Man. Quit and go to work for yourselves painting houses and odd jobs.

If I have a position open and the person is qualified, I'm hiring them vaccinated or not. I'm also not going to include it in my policy either way. Most of my employees are vaccinated, and there's a couple I'm not sure about. I'm also not going to ask, because I really don't care.

You will eventually get fined for each unvaccinated employee that doesn't submit weekly tests. It's not ending with 100+ employees. They are trying to figure out the logistics of violating the civil rights of people employed by smaller companies too.

You see what happened in Virginia this week? The authoritarians got their asses handed to them in every statewide election.

Mandates are not popular.

I will allow myself to be fired, if it comes to that. But this is unconstitutional and will be proven as such in due time.

If they don’t cave before then. Brandon has already shown weakness by pushing it back a month.

In the same boat. Our CEO has said they don’t like nor want to mandate, but if faced with the fines I think they’d ultimately go mandate.

I buy steel out of an office in CO, but our manufacturing plant is a bunch of blue collared baws in PA. If they mandate I expect a huge loss of workers and we already have significant backlog due to supply chain delays.

I do have potential overseas travel to countries who require the vaccine for entry. If my employer tells me I need it to perform my job and go to those countries that’s one thing.

But I’m staunchly against the federal government telling me I have to have it. I’m all principle at this point.

I don’t know what I’ll do, think about it everyday. What’s the point of looking for a new job if ultimately they’re going to force all businesses to mandate it?

Agree with all of this.

It's one thing for a private company to mandate it or not, completely different for it to come from the federal government.

I’m coming to the conclusion that they’ll make a mandate to get the booster by April or else you’re fired. Unless you’re a coward, it is coming for you regardless.

Let it come and if they try to force it on me they better be right with God

They are considering this same mandate for employers under 100 people BTW.

Its coming for EVERYBODY. They have to do it incrementally to increasingly marginalize the holdouts. You decide now, you want to fight this or are you ok with being Australia?

100% this. The government has a hundred cards to play to get everyone and they seem intent on playing every single one.

We must stand together to fight this. 40% are stronger than 10%. They are just trying to whittle the number down little by little.

Its like being lowered in to a hole an inch a day. It doesn't seem like much until they start burying you.

Don't be lowered one inch and you won't have to worry about what happens when you are 6 feet in the hole.

Every gubernatorial race in VA and NJ since the Reagan administration has flipped after a presidential election. VA electing an R Gov is no different now as it was in 17 when they elected a D Gov. Or 1989. Or 1993. Or 1997... and so on.

I'm vaccinated and it's absolutely infuriating to me that people are having to choose between compliance or losing their livelihoods.

Not if you are involved in federal contracts. Doesnt matter if you'll never be within 100 feet of a live human for the rest of your life. If you are involved in any way in any federal project bid out after mid-october, you are required to be fully vaccinated.
